With more than 30 years of experience in retail technology and software development, I specialise in creating practical, business-focused systems that help business owners streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and make better decisions through data.

My expertise spans point-of-sale systems, cloud platforms, e-commerce integration, CRM, business intelligence, and retail automation. I am passionate about building software that solves real-world problems and believes technology should simplify business rather than complicate it.

Based between New Zealand, Indonesia, Australia and Europe, I enjoy working closely with customers to continually evolve Ramsys, delivering innovative features and personalised solutions that help businesses grow.

I've spent 11 years doing marketing for small and medium businesses, first in Europe, now in New Zealand. Most of that has been hands on, end to end: websites and online shops, email and automation, ads, SEO content, and reporting that tells you what's working and what isn't, in plain numbers and plain language. No marketing jargon. You'll always know what I'm doing and why.

What I'm best at is joining the dots. Shop, website, socials and inbox feeding one system, so you can see which part is actually pulling its weight. I've worked across retail, trade, services and non-profits, so I'm quick at learning how a business really makes its money and what it actually needs from me.

Growing up between languages probably helped with that. When you switch all day, you learn that saying the same thing twice, in two ways, isn't the same message. Tone, timing and word choice change what people hear. That's why the same offer can land in one channel and die in another.
